Legend has it the fishermen of Central America sought the Great Loggerhead Turtle in warm tropical waters. It was tribal belief that this powerful turtle, also known as the "Caguama", symbolized good fortune for the fisherman’s village. It’s our hope that you too will experience the good fortune of the "Caguama". Salud!

Pours a clear, wan yellow with a white head that quickly dissipates - hardly looks like beer at all. Aroma is a bit fruity and has a strong skunky overtone. Flavor is just strong and just malty enough to pass for beer. Texture is smooth and a little tingly. Nothing to write home about - but I was willing to give El Salvadorian beer a fair shake.

Standard fake pils. Watery. Piss yellow. Skunky smell. Not sure how a nasty Mexican lager is different from a nasty American lager.

12oz bottle. tasted simultaneously with caguama light and SP. the room wreaks of skunk. not sure who the culprit is but i’m going to assume it’s all of them. pours a hazy light gold under a small frothy white head. lots of lively bubbles. skunky aroma with a bit of must. flavor is drab and tasteless really. a bit of puke flavor. light body. sharp carbonation.

Bottle. It’s pretty Corona-esque. Really needs a lime. There’s a weird aroma.

i like this because its cheap and decent taste. not too much "good flavor" but, beer is beer and if its in front of me, ill drink it. for others, if your used to beers like arrogant bastard ales (one of my favs) or some kind of dark ale, stout, bock, ect... you may think this is pretty weak.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very pale yellow color with a tiny almost instantly vanishing head. The unpleasant skunky aroma was apparent immediately on opening the bottle. It tastes a lot like a cross between a corona and a very cheap American macro beer. This is a bad but not undrinkable beer to me. I won’t buy this again.

Just a nasty, nasty beer...one of the worst I’ve ever had. At least the label is nice and the price was, too. As soon as the cap came off, the aroma was regrettably piss-like. Well, no completely piss-like but too close for my liking. Also, my abused nose detected some perfume-like taint, and I was reminded of the unloved Hite. This must be Hite’s Latino cousin. Colour was sadly a clear, light gold which due to the aroma also came to resemble urine. An exploding large head quickly died away to nothing. Taste was NFG, odd and perfumed. Mouthfeel was that of a weak and watery so-called beer. Aftertaste was non-existent .

oh my! i bought this since i am truly a sucker for a stank azz brew. it seems i may have met my match... clear pale straw yellow with a very short lived white head. the aroma and flavor are of pale malt and side of route 30 freshly killed skunk...ick. this is perhaps the most dank thing i have ever repeatedly drank... syrupy fake texture on a medium body with a sharp acidic mouth feel. wow, i shouldn’t have bought two! 3/3/3/2/4/1.5

Source: 12 oz bottle from Kroger.
Glass: Shaker.
Appearance: Pale gold pour with a two finger white head.
Aroma: Grain and corn. Earthiness in the background.
Flavor: Corn and grassy hops.
Palate: Light body with solid carbonation.
Overall: Fair summery beer, but not a very good pilsener.
