3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
i like this because its cheap and decent taste. not too much "good flavor" but, beer is beer and if its in front of me, ill drink it. for others, if your used to beers like arrogant bastard ales (one of my favs) or some kind of dark ale, stout, bock, ect... you may think this is pretty weak.
It tastes like yeast. It needs to ferment more to inhance its flavor and increase its alcohol content. It feels as if it is too immature of a beer to be sold as such. People have said it is like a Corona, but it has a long way to to reach that point. It is far too sweet and lacks the flavor profile for a proper beer. I’m amazed at some of the very negative reviews on this beer. I’ve drank this beer on occasion for the past 4 years. I find it to be a nice light beer with good flavor. It’s not Corona, but in my opinion it has a somewhat similar taste. If you prefer beers with more flavor like an IPA then this beer probably isn’t for you. If you just want a light refreshing beer at a discount price then give it a try. csaso (2337) - Missouri, USA - MAY 24, 2016
Bottle - fair size foamy head, pale straw color, pretty typical pale lager aroma and flavor, mild lime/citrus notes (but that might be from the lime wedge they stuck in the top of the bottle), would be refreshing on the beach but otherwise basic

12 oz. bottle. Pours slightly cloudy straw colored. Aroma was grassy, skunky and burnt. Taste was similar, but not overly bad. RedSox2004 (1979) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Crystal clear white gold with a small and quickly disappearing head. Skunky aromas to go along with the grainy malt. Big carbonation, metallic finish.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow pour with a small fizzy head. Mild grain/grass smell, plus a little skunk. Taste is almost skunkier. Pretty bad. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into pint glass. Aurelius (5590) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Aroma- Has a beer smell that is driven by grass or grain.
Appearance- Looks like Coors Light to me, that is not a compliment.
Taste- Bland with a skunky finish, not good.
Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation, didn’t really notice, trying to get the taste out of my mouth.
Overall- Somewhere between totally forgettable to regrettable, I just can’t decide.
Good painted label, which is the strong point for this brewery. Very pale, faintly yellow beer with a white head. Skunked cereal aroma. Nothing here - some graininess, some skunky ambiguous hops. Bleh. Kroger, Abercorn St., Savannah. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - NOV 7, 2014
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear pale straw, almost clear, thick, foamy, one-finger white head, bands of lace. Aroma hits you as the bottle is opened - bitter adjunct. Taste is very light malt and adjunct that remains steady through the palate, finally landing in a short finish that barely offers anything to balance. This would seem to be for guzzlers on hot days, when it would work well. On cool autumn evenings, no thanks DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 2, 2014
12oz clear-glass bottle, yanked from someone’s fridge. Clear golden yellow color. Thin white head. Decent ropes and ridges of lace. Awful plain corn, white bread, with a big bite in the taste. Mildly sour, moderate sweet, and a terrible mildly sour bite to the flavor. Corn, white bread, and some funkiness. Mildew. Light to medium body. Kind of rough, light to moderate carbonation. More dry finish. Acidic rough texture to this and awful taste makes this very unpleasant. Who knows how old it is or what conditions it’s been subject to, that probably doesn’t help. Code on bottle reads FL L06 ACCGBE who knows what the hell that means. Awful. Every sip is painful and punishing.
