UPDATED: JAN 14, 2014 Draft. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Medium body with chocolate and malt notes and a slight hop bitterness.-- Much more sweetness both in the aroma and flavor. I prefer the less sweet version. Nijhazer (10) - - DEC 27, 2012
Not much flavor to this stout (relative to other stouts). But it's got great body- not nearly as thick and syrupy as other stouts.

Draft sampled at Magic City Brewfest. Poured deep brown with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma is roasty toasty malt, some milk chocolate, a bit of piney, citrusy hops. Flavor is rich and malty, some chocolate and coffee. The rye gives it a crisp, slightly spiciness. Mild bitterness. Smooth drinking but flavorful.
