Cask, The Dispensary, Liverpool. Very stout like in appearance - black with a creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma with some dark fruit. Quite full bodied. Flavour had more malt with elements of chocolate and raisin. Hint of smokiness in there. Very well rounded and drinkable. Dig it ! DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2006

Classic dark mild appearance. Chocolate cake aroma. Some lighter aromas too. Rich burntness, not oppressive. Clear crisp, but subtle, hops. Refreshing.
