Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Very week light bitter flavor. Week raisin notes. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Not worth the money. saxo (19357) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 29, 2010

Clear amber of color with a small white head. A sweet aroma with dark fruits, sweets and weak bitter hints. A flavor of sweets, dark fruits, grass abd dried fruits. rane (1095) - Nibe, DENMARK - APR 16, 2010
Bottle. Amber beer. Quite hoppy aroma, I can´t detect any raisins in aroma or taste, quite disappointing. Taste malty and quite weak.

Light amber with small white head. Malt dominated nose with a bit of caramel and little raisin. Slightly hoppy. Taste has caramel, a bit of fruitiness, dark, dried fruits like raisins, figs. High carbonation, small to medium body. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2010
Alas, my last bottle from the shores of England thanks to my friend
wyzzywyz22. Decent fruit beer with a nice subtle aroma of malt, grass and just a hint of raisins.Nice looking clear amber with a small head. All beer looks good to me though. Flavor is subdued with a nice balance of malt and hops with just a touch of the raisins. Better than I thought after seeing the label. Oh and by the looks of it, just the second Yank to rate it. Aroma: Sweet raisin with a earthy malt smell. Appearance: Redish amber, light bubbles, with a small head that dissapates. Taste: More pleasant than the aroma with a taste of the obvious raisin, sweet honey, and sugary malt. Palate: Fairly full bodied and quite a lively feel in the mouth. The finish is sweet. Overall: A mixed beer with some good qualities, it’s less obvious than you might think and is definitely worth a try. greenmanalishi (551) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2009
Bottle bought within a mile of the brewery. Pours a dull clear amber with slight indigo hue. Raisin aroma, nutmeg?, hops. Thin clear taste with fresh raisin hint (not cloying and thick as feared) something like an iced tea. dry, pippy, slight bitter finish. Pleasant surprise. Appearance: Reddish amber in colour, with a creamy head of fine bubbles. Lightly carbonated.
Aroma: Sugary malts, with a strong spiciness, possibly cinnamon. The smell of dark fruits is clear, led by raisins. Slightly metallic. There is also a dusty smell, like an old room...yeah, weird, huh?
Taste: The flavours are fruity, supported by the strong raisin and grape tastes. There is a mellow sweetness that persists through to the end, which is characterised by subtle fruit sugars, and a faint honey.
Mouthfeel: The body is on the heavy side of medium. Quite clingy feel, but smooth texture.
Drinkability: This beer seems to evoke a love or hate response, manly due to its irregular flavours. I come down more on the ’love’ side but this is due to the taste. The aromas are not great, and had me expecting something terrible from the taste but I was pleasantly surprised by the rich fruity malts and gentle sweetness. An unusual beer but a good one; try it!
