Bottle. Sweet light raisin and barley malt aroma. Dark amber color with large head. Lightly sweet raisin, toffee malt and lightly bitter grassy hops. Medium body. Raisin beer didn’t really sound like it was going to be very good but this surprised me - Very nice beer. Fin (11047) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2008
Can’t remember where this one came from, if it was from Ian Harrisoni (thanks) but equally I may have got it from Morrissons at Aylesbury so in that case thanks to me Amber in colour with some bubbles around the rim. Some sweet fruits on the nose. Found this to be just a bit tiresom had plenty of sweetness but it tasted artificial bit sacchriney, not much bitterness, in fact not much at all really chucked the last third of it away as became bored of it. leaparsons (10859) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2006
