50 cl bottle at Dispensary pub, Liverpool. Amber color, big fuzzy head. Aroma is dark fruit and hops. Flavor is fruity, most of all raisin, nice sweetness and hops, but a bit watery. Very drinkable. BeerCast_Rich (1906) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 13, 2011
[500ml bottle, Booth’s, Preston] Deep ruby red colour with decent white head. Unsurprisingly the prime aroma is raisin, and the prime flavour likewise. There’s a touch of prune juice in there as well. Can’t really taste much hop – mostly juicy red fruit from start to finish. Depends if you like raisins or not, which I actually do dynamiteninja (1863) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2010
Bottle. Aroma is overwhelmingly Californian raisins. Some citrusy-piney hop aroma too. Bubbles line the glass. Off white head that quickly disappears.Clear amber coloured beer. Medium bitterness with sweet notes. Lively carbonation, a bit of a nasty after taste. worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2012
Deep dark copper colour with a slightly soapy somewhat lasting white thin head. Smells of bitter malt, grape Crush and hops. Slightly chemically.. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Sweet caramel malt start and a bittersweet fuity finish. Tastes like someone poured grape Crush into by bitter. Lightly toasted with sweet rasin. Smooth but a little heavy. tdtm82 (1701) - Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2010
Bottle; 50cl, Morrison’s supermarket.
Poured into Wandsworth beer festival glass, no head, golden copper appearance, murky. Aroma is very sweet malts. raisins and toffee. Taste is raisins, sweet malts, toffee, some butterscotch, metallic off-taste, bone dry texture, very very malty, caramel and plum. Feel this has been kept badly and is a little shot.

Bottle 500 ml from Bier-Bienne (CH). Beer colour Sherry Medium Dry, aromas of ripe fruits, malt, honey and plum, Sherry-Marsala. The taste is slight, very fruity, grape juice and Marc, hints of Pineau des Charentes. The flavors come together without fusing, dry fruits, almond, aromatic bitterness, earthy and grassy. eduardovl (1449) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
500ml bottle served in a pint glass.
A: Pours a orange to nutty color. Clear. Forms a small fizzy white head. Small retention and some lacings left
S: Sweet and fruity in the nose. Mainly caramel malts with notes of raisins. Metallic. Notes of leather. Yeasts and some flowery hops in the end
T: Follows the nose. Sweet upfront. Toffee, caramel, caramel malts, raisins, yeasts and flowery hops. Metallic too. Good hoppy bitterness
M: Light watery body. Medium to low carbonation. Light bitter aftertaste
O: Medium drinkability. Well, not bad since I’ve paid only 1 CHF (around 1 dollar) for the bottle

from Asda, aroma of dark fruits, not sure if raisns. Nice rich copper redish colour clear with no head, medium sweetness, light a bit sharpy bitterness, medium body, soft carbonation, not sure about this beer, average ale from my point of view dogbomb (1217) - ENGLAND - APR 3, 2013
Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with a small white thin head. Lots of scent - obvious raisins, boiled plums, a lovely malt sweetness about it. Some banana. In the mouth, the raisin becomes a bit more clarified. Dried fruits and a light grape. Sweetness on the tongue, followed by a bitter finish and some more banana. Pleasant enough, and surprisingly deep. Finish could be a little longer. scotty (1208) - SCOTLAND - AUG 23, 2008
Bottle from Morrisons. Slightly hazy head white and fading fast. Nose fruity and spicy, palate is smooth and overwhelmingly bland, only flavour is a hint of bitter fruit on the finish. A poor Cains brew, nice idea but needs some work methinks.
