500ml bottle from Asda, Liverpool. Amber colour with thin beige head. Some plummy fruit aroma with an odd mix of hop on the finish. Bit too sweet in mouth. Finish is decent. Bit of candy sugar. Not a huge fan of this or the cask version either. superflyguy (439) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2012
an interesting concoction. smells good, looks bad and tastes ’funny’.
a definite smack of grapy raisins that kind of comes of as bad wine with good beer added!
maybe just a half with some christmas cake. Firefly54 (246) - - APR 1, 2013
Sweet malty aroma, raisins come through, some caramel. Taste follows the nose. It’s actually quite pleasant and very drinkable albeit a bit boring and a little too sweet. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2004

Lightly raisiny and failry pleasant. Drier than i expected, i was expecting something quite sticky and raisiny. A little thin in the flavour department, but perfectly drinkable.
Bottle, pours a clear amber with a bubbly off-white head that vanished in a few seconds. A mostly hoppy aroma, with just a touch of a grapes similar to what you might smell in a shiraz. The raisins are a lot stronger in the flavour, though reasonably well balanced with the general fruit hoppiness that is the initial taste. However, there is an over-carbonated mouthfeel which imparts a strong metalic palate in the middle through to a short and unpleasant drying finish. Shame - not for me.
