Clear deep golden beer that pours virtually flat and within seconds the white head vanishes. Aroma is hoppy and sweet and the flavour is dry with a deffinate raisiny finish. tomthompson89 (1982) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2008

Bottle; 50cl, Morrison’s supermarket.
Poured into Wandsworth beer festival glass, no head, golden copper appearance, murky. Aroma is very sweet malts. raisins and toffee. Taste is raisins, sweet malts, toffee, some butterscotch, metallic off-taste, bone dry texture, very very malty, caramel and plum. Feel this has been kept badly and is a little shot. markas101 (2435) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2011
50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Liverpool. Copper coloured, rasin and malty caramel aroma. Sweet, soy-sauce undertones with sourness on the finish. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle. A lightly unclear, golden beer with a minimal sized, off-white head. Malt forward beer with an obvious raisin aroma. Some citrusy, earthy hoppyness. Dry, full-bodied and a bit hard on the carbonation. Lightly roasted caramel flavor with the raisins shining through. Some bitterness in the finish. Nothing wrong with this one, but it’s really, really boring. 111112 harrisoni (18436) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2007
500ml bottle from Asda, Liverpool. Amber colour with thin beige head. Some plummy fruit aroma with an odd mix of hop on the finish. Bit too sweet in mouth. Finish is decent. Bit of candy sugar. Not a huge fan of this or the cask version either. Fin (10476) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2008
Can’t remember where this one came from, if it was from Ian Harrisoni (thanks) but equally I may have got it from Morrissons at Aylesbury so in that case thanks to me Amber in colour with some bubbles around the rim. Some sweet fruits on the nose. Found this to be just a bit tiresom had plenty of sweetness but it tasted artificial bit sacchriney, not much bitterness, in fact not much at all really chucked the last third of it away as became bored of it.
