Flaske 0,5l fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Batch 3232. Drukket hjemme 21 Apr 14. Dyp brun. OK luftig skum som varer litt. Lav teppelacing. Aroma av frukt & bær. Smaken har samme preg. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert. KI=4. djoeye (4605) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 19, 2014

Off white lasting head, some lacings, clear amber-copper body. Nice look.
Scents; powerful roasted malts, floral hops, prunes, toffee,
Flavour; roasted malts, fruity hops, chocolate malts, somewhat dry and fruity at the same time.
Nice feel, ok carbonation, not watery.
Finish; dark malts, roasted and chocolate notes, hops play a postludium.
Overall a tasty beer, should go nice with good meat dinners,
or with salty snacks and sausages while watching your favourite football (soccer) team.

500ml bottle, L3232, bought at EuroSpar Tomasjord. Shared with Richard. Amber coloured body with a shade of brown, clear. Slowly diminishing beige head. Earthy malty nose with a touch of floral hops. Taste of herbal spicy hops, thistle and ginger, joined by mid-sweet malts. Fruit bitter twist to the ending. Medium to thin bodied. A bit different and quite nice to drink (Easter gathering at our place, Tromsø 18.04.2014).

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 21, 2014
Bottle, brought home from Meny Oslo City. A dense tanned cream head, upon a crystal clear brownish-red body. Caramel/toffee and dark, slight acidic fruits to the nose. Really seducing. Good body for 4,5 percenter. Nice sparkling carbonation. Clean and dry malt base. Toast and light caramel. Some bittering hops underneath. Very good for a bottled bitter. Bottle from Tesco. Brown with a good head. Toffee malt balanced with an unusual herbal hop flavour. ERB92 (739) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2014
Bread, caramel, hints of roasted malts and some herbs. Mahogany with a off white head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Light to medium body with a lively carbonation. Overall a average bitter, but with some character. A bit to carbonated for my taste. Graham77 (514) - SCOTLAND - JAN 25, 2014
500ml bottle. Contrary to other reviewers I didn’t find this to be an ordinary bitter. It is bittered with thistles as well as hops, a fact that seems to have been lost on others. The thistles are noticeable in the flavour with a spicy, weedy and earthy flavour. That said I prefer my hops so don’t think this improves the beer, it just makes it a little different. I’m glad I tried this but I have tasted better beers. Credit to the brewer for keeping old traditions alive.
