Cask at Standing Order. Pours clear golden. Aromas of citrus fruits. Taste is pale malts, floral hops, citrus. thmsboyd (224) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - AUG 17, 2015
Bottle BBE: 28 Jun ’16. Well-chilled. Pours a clear rich golden, verging on pale amber. The head is small-medium, off-white, a little creamy and patchy. Good lacing. Prominent acetic acid on the nose, real ’fish and chip’ vinegar style. A little vanilla honeyed sweetness and sour green apples. Medium sweetness prevails over a light sourness, with a pleasant, light, crisp bitterness to finish. Light-medium bodied with a gentle, bristly texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and the finish is short but pleasant. Overall a decent, sessionable pale ale, but the vinegarry note is a bit strong. Genuinely a good pair for fish and chips. sdmmb (1857) - BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2015

Pours a pale golden colour with a white head. Citrus hop aroma and the taste is malt initially but then a lasting hop bitterness.

500ml bottle from tesco
Looks highly carbonated when pouring but the fizz is thankfully gentler. Keeps a decent head though. Quite earthy in aroma and taste. Like sticking your head out of a tent in the middle of a field at dawn. Quite hoppy finish but not as grapefruity as some other ales
Gets more interesting as you get further down the glass. Nice one.
