Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with a sweet toffee and gentle warming ginger flavour, fruity notes and a creamy, smooth finish. Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 19, 2013
Bottle @home, found this lurking at the back of the beer cupboard, quite close to sell by date but in date by 10 days. A little bland i must say, nose was nothing, slight fruit but i had to go looking for it. Taste was the same a slight ginger touch but nothing of really anything. A bit of a disappointment. gunnar (9687) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 13, 2013
Bottle at The Gathering Place, Braemar. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and weak grassy hops. Taste is moderate dry grassy, weak malty body, a dull beer.

Bottle at CGarvie tasting. It pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet pale malt, spice, ginger and leaf. The taste is dough, pithy citrus, spice, ginger and sweet pale malt with a very dry finish. Lightish body and fine carbonation. The ginger isn’t really as punchy as you’d expect with this name. Not much to it.... zimbo (970) - SCOTLAND - APR 26, 2013
