Pale yellow with light grainy nose, flavour is light hops with dry bitter finish
ok but nothing special scotty (1208) - SCOTLAND - MAY 19, 2014
Pint, Glen Nevis lounge bar. A wee bit hazy, but pale straw, good white head. Has a good malt backbone, but it is the hops that are well to the fore, clean and refreshing citrus flavours abound, the 4.3% ABV puts it (just!) in the session category, I could easily quaff a few of these, very nice! On tap @ the Royal Dunkeld Hotel. Pours a pale hazy colour with a decent head. the nose has flowers and a little lemon. The taste has lemon and grapefruit. The palate is light to medium in body and well balanced. Another example of why this style comes across well on cask.

Cask @ JDW Elgin
Sharp zesty hoppy nose, taste of sharp lemon zest, grapefruit zest, touch of grass. Bitter zesty palate with some lingering bitterness. Yes...it’s better 3.2 > 3.6
Cask @ Mash Tun, Aberlour

Aroma of light fruity citrus hops, light pale fruity malts
Taste of fairly bitter zesty hops, light pale fruits, getting a slight smoky note(?)
Palate - Light to medium body, soft oily texture. Finish is bitter, rather dry
Overall - I had Trade Winds earlier in the evening - some aspects of that I could taste in this. I’d like to try this again
Cask @ The Henglers’ Circus JDW. Golden orange colour, decent head. Fruity biscuit resin aroma. Citrus fruit & resin flavour, orange aftertaste. Decent blonde beer. john1704 (26) - SCOTLAND - APR 16, 2012
Cask Last Post Paisley. Pours pale golden with tight white head. Aroma of fresh cut grass, citrus and parsley. Apricots, raisin and pink grapefruit fill the mouth and remain there for several minutes. A fine example of what hopheads want from Cairngorm. Excellent stuff. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Far From The Madding Crowd Oxford. A golden beer with a bright white head. Unbelievably dry and very bitter. The aroma is fairly thin, but it’s the dryness which is crushingly obvious. No doubt over Chinooked. A bit of a struggle. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 7, 2012
On cask at Cloisters. Pours a light golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of lemon citrus, pine and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Quite bitter and very tasty.
