[ Trade by cgarvieuk ]. Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt caramel, light caramel, smoke notes, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, burnt caramel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Mild roasted malt aroma with a light metallic touch. Sweet malty and slight caramelish note. Bottled. Dark amberish ruby colour with mediumsized beige head. Malt and caramel in aroma. Flavour is roasted malts with sweet caramel. The roastiness is pretty deep down below. Wellbalanced though.

500ml bottle from Dobbies garden centre, Ashford. Clear chestnut colour with lasting thick beige head. Toffee dry malty aroma. Lots of dry malt on the aroma. Bit dull in the mouth. Some malt.
