Pasteurised bottle.
A pleasant mahogany coloured best bitter, malt predominating, gives a satisfying fullness of flavour. A glass or two of "Nessie’s Monster Mash" is a must before seeking an audience with the monster. The legendary monster is a source of constant speculation and rumour as he watches from his lair deep in the dark and mysterious depths of majestic Loch Ness.

Bottled. Deep amber coloured body, with a smooth, lacy white head, steadily fading. Vanilla and sweet malt aroma. Mature malt flavour with decent bitterness providing the required balance for the malts. Easy drinking.

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 17, 2006
Bottle, some carbonation when poured, a deep brown colour with a large fuffy beige head. Strong malty aroma with some hint of chocolate. Very rich on palate and caramal malt flavours. Agree with a lot of comments that it is too thin and has a little acidity. Still enkoyed the initial flavours, shame about the finish.

[500ml bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] Pours reddish brown, with a thin white head. Malty aroma with some yeast notes. More malt on the taste, a little stone fruit, caramel and nuts. Reminded me very much of their Stag - a nudge up the abv meter, maybe a little more malt on the palate, but that’s about it [23042010]

Amber color with a off white head. The taste is a sweet dry sourness with a ugly and rather boring palate.
