COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pasteurised bottle.
A pleasant mahogany coloured best bitter, malt predominating, gives a satisfying fullness of flavour. A glass or two of "Nessies Monster Mash" is a must before seeking an audience with the monster. The legendary monster is a source of constant speculation and rumour as he watches from his lair deep in the dark and mysterious depths of majestic Loch Ness.

Bottled. Dark amber with an off-white head. Aromas are toffee, roast malts and berries. Flavours are fruity and toffee malts, quite sweet with an earthy, dry finish. A bit thin with bloating carbonation. Not too bad, though.

[500ml bottle, Appellation Wines, Edinburgh] Pours reddish brown, with a thin white head. Malty aroma with some yeast notes. More malt on the taste, a little stone fruit, caramel and nuts. Reminded me very much of their Stag - a nudge up the abv meter, maybe a little more malt on the palate, but thats about it [23042010]
