500ml bottle as " Cairngorm Gold". Pours a golden straw colour with a small white head. Nose is bready with a touch of lemon and spice. Similar to a German Helles. Medium carbonation. Taste is bready, grainy malt with a slight sour and light citrus aftertaste. Mildly floral bitterness. Not bad.

Sweet malts, a bit of popped corn. Zesty in the finish, with some nice hints of grapefruit and dry grainy crackers. Traditional, clean, nice. A bit sweet-ish.

Bottle. "Cairngorm Gold". Clear golden with a nice head. Mild aroma of floral hops, zest and a hint of diacetyl. Taste is slightly fruity, zesty, earthy and floral. Medium carbonation. Creamy. Refreshing and easy drinking but also kind of bland. The artwork with the grim looking eagle and the happy fonts put a smile on my face.

Nonshaugen (597) - Fetsund, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2017
50 cl(?), bottle conditioned, BB May 28th 2017. Slightly hazy, light amber, medium white head, lively carbonation. Not much to the nose other than slight hints of pale malts, almost lager-ish. Mouthfeel is a bit fizzy carbonation, a bit dry but mostly watery and thin. Flavours of caramel malts, toffee and honey, quite sweet beer. It,s nice and very sessionable.

Flaska. Klar guldfärgad med ett vitt skum. Dofter av säd, gräs och honung. Smakinslag av honung, säd, citrus och gräs. Lite dammig eftersmak.

GSAP (739) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2016
Eigenlijk wel een fijne pils, meerendeel zoet, met name in het aroma, alsof er suikerwater inzit. Smaak is wat meer hooi, beetje pit, wat prima in nasmaak doortrekt. ’Decent’ is een juist woord.

Hopverdju (1191) - BELGIUM - DEC 21, 2016
Geproefd als Cairngorm Gold. Goudblond bier met een grote witte schuimkraag. Geur: mout en karamel en wat bloemig. Smaak: moutzoetig, zacht fruitig en bloemig bitter. Lichte body. Licht parelende koolzuurpikkel. Afdronk: licht bitter.

Clear light blonde, well carbonated. Malt, fruit, honey. Watery mouthfeel but leaves a buttery feeling in the mouth. Quite a nice easy drink after a long day.
