Moebbels (780) - FINLAND - APR 19, 2014
Pours a golden body with a minimal haziness. The white head disappears rather quickly for being a beer containing a high proportion of wheat malt. Nose is refreshing with citrus, floral and herbal notes. Taste is crisp, dry and refreshing with a medium bitter finish. Carbonation is a tad above medium and the palate is pleasantly rich for such a light beer. A perfectly good blonde ale suited for a hot summer day.

A golden ale with a thin white head. A light brew with notes of wheat and citrus with a hint of elderflower on the finish. Nothing special.

Light toffee, fruits and citrus in the aroma. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a average carbonation. Overall a totally OK Golden/Blond Ale, but nothing to remember here.

From the spout a pine forest of hops to the nose, plus (elder-)flowers, then citric scents a lot. Head vanished as a ghost. Golden alright body. Sweet malts of wheat to the tongue along with lemon, grains, hops, and something flowerish fruity. Gentle to palate, fresh n fruity. Dry sweet and mild bitter end, malty notes too. Serve it chilled, but it tastes well also at 10-12c. Fine p-ale to food or snacks. 500ml brown bottle 4.3%abv [email protected], [email protected]

Bottled, 500ml from Glencoe Village Co-Op, Highlands. Hazed gold with white head. Malty bitterness on the palate, there is a corn like flavour, some sweetness. This leads to a soapy lemon flavour along with resin from a bittering hop. There is a light metallic note in the close. Its ok.

Rune (12063) - Troms, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2013
500ml bottle picked up at Kjeller 5 in Troms. Firm white head, mostly diminishing. Near clear, golden body. Lacing rings. Floral hoppy nose, quite fresh and fruity. Citrus flavours on a backbone of mid-sweet wheat. Dry bittersweet finish. Soft in the mouth. Fine partner to the chicken food. Quite nice golden ale with session qualities (at home 01.11.2013).
