VMeth (28) - - DEC 31, 2012
Golden ale with high wheat content, flavoured with elderflower, clearly trying to mimic continental weissbeers, but the balance isn’t quite right. It looks and smells fine but it is a bit thin on the palate with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Theydon_Bois (19509) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle on the train from Edinburgh - 08/12/12. Clear pale golden with a small white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, light grapefruit, a little peach. Taste comprises light hops, pale malts, peach, grapefruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitterness in the finish.

kaziopiwosz (393) - Warszawa / Wałbrzych, POLAND - OCT 3, 2012
Some citrus nutes in taste, bitter palate, somewhat watery. White foam. Dark-golden colour.

jamesie1857 (2150) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2012
500ml bottle - a clear golden (almost lager-like appearance) with a white head, Faint nose of hops and grass, a bit of carbonation and a bitter after taste. Okay.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 12, 2012
The head is ok. It smells, malty. The first taste is a bit citrus, then it is low aromatic, but a bit malty. Could be more flavour 11/10/9/9/12/9

I wasnt too wild for this one, quite a strong citrus aroma, soft tasting but quite bitter, dry and all round rough experience... This is a good brewery but this particular beer is one I am not keen on from them.

Nilz (511) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 12, 2012
A clear pale yellow with a decent head that lasts. The aroma is a fresh floral hops. Tastes are a light dry bitterness with some sweet maltness.Rather pleasant as a session ale.

jamestulloch (4111) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 13, 2012
Aroma: Fresh lemon and grapefruit. Grassy scent.

Appearance: Clear golden body. Small, lasting white head. Very lively carbonation. Slight lacing.

Taste: Very sharp, citrusy taste. Dry, woody finish.

Palate: Light, watery texture. Fizzy carbonation.

Overall: Ugly packaging, beautiful beer. Crisp, light and refreshing.

jvhemert (397) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 11, 2012
AROMA: grapefruit, citrus fruits APPEARANCE: pale, clear, minimal head, TASTE: lightly bitter, lightly sour, PALATE: light body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter OVERALL: not special, taste is ok.

Bottle (500ml):
A great fruity smell to begin with along with some strong hops and there is a very noticeable elderflower aroma, background notes of pine too.
Crystal clear, golden amber with a large and foamy head & some nice lacing.
Some elderflower from the nose along with a background wheat taste and some hops and pine. I could also detect some good fruity flavours and citrus towards the end. A good tasting beer.
Light to medium bodied and as expected this one is smooth with moderate carbonation and has a crisp, bitter finish.

This beer has been one of the best, if not the best of this style of beer I have reviewed thus far. It has been a very pleasant surprise and a great drinking experience thus far. Certainly a beer I will try to pick up again in the future, and for once a beer that I might have to actively seek out on cask.
