Pours pale yellow and translucent with a medium white foam subsiding slowly. Scent is light elderflower and lemon. Taste is very nice pale ale with light lemon citrus. Finish is lightly sugary and together with lemon is a nice combination. Great.

500 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. BB date 28.06.2014. ABV is 4.3%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma, notes of flowers and tropical fruits. Light bodied. Medium dry flavour, decent fruity and herbal hops, but not quite the complexity of the cask version. Still a great refreshment.

Very similar to other Cairngorm beers in the range with golden colour and a clean pure white head. Light on the hops and clean but certainly nothing very challenging or memorable.

Bottle BBE: 28 Dec 2015. Well-chilled. Pours a clear amber, with a moderate white head thats patchy when receded. Bright aroma of lemon zest and elderflower. Quite bready/yeasty with a hint of butyric. Very light sweetness and a light-medium bitterness. Balanced yet interesting. Fullish body attributable to wheat content, giving a coarse texture. Lively on the tongue with a medium-length finish. Wheat is the star here in a sessionable ale that stands out from the crowd.
