From cask at Oxford. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished white head. Mild malty and slight fruity aroma. Flavour is fruity and slight phenolic and mild spiced hoppy. Mild finish with notes of dry wooden hops and mild spiced to solid bitter hops. Mild malt base. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2008

Cask at Blackfriars Inverness. When I first tasted this I noted its crispness, with a good healthy amount of citrus flavours. Nice light gold appearance. doubelknv3 (1092) - Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2008
Tasting notes from 2003 Harbury beer festival. One of my favorites of the festival. Golden-Orange with then white head. Citrus, floral, and biscuit aroma notes. Citrus, sweet fruit, and balancing hop flavours. Fresh, dry finish. downender (8583) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2008
On gravity at the Bristol Beer Festival 14/3/08. Golden coloured with a decent white head. Grainy malt, citrus and grassy hop aroma. Full mouth feel with plenty of fruit flavour and a long, dry finish. Good.

Re-rate at GBBF 08. Slight upward change in scores. A great ale.
Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2006)
Flowery aroma, like a good wheat beer’s fingerprint. Also with some citrus. Very well balanced, good across the board. mike_77 (6549) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - OCT 19, 2007
Cask @ Warrington Oktoberfest.
Blonde coloured ale. Fresh, fruity aroma. Great balance of fruitiness and grains results in a smooth easy drinking beer that has fruit mixed in with the delicate hop flavour. Svesse (8572) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 8, 2007
(Cask at GBBF, London, 8 Aug 2007) Pale orange, almost brass colour with brief white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and toffee. Fruity taste with citrus, hints of grapefruit, apricots, toffee and delicate citrussy hops in the finish. Balanced and easy to drink. Tasty session beer. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUL 15, 2007
(cask - Coastguard, St. Margarets Bay) amber with floral hops aroma. Nice flavor of mild hops and malt. I’d call it a bitter myself.
