Award winning new recipe. A light golden colour with a high proportion of wheat and corn giving it a clean fresh taste on top of which there is masses of hop, fruit and citrus flavours with elderflower on the nose.

[email protected] avion, aldridge. Hazy golden beer with medium head and no lacing. Aroma of pale malts and a touch of pepper. Taste is mild smoked malts, toffee, citrus and pepper. Too many, what I felt were off flavours. Not very good.

Cask at JDW Briar Rose; Light golden amber pour with foamy white head, buttery aroma, detect butterscotch with some fruitiness trying to escape, diacetyl is it intentional.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 28/06/13. A golden beer. Over sweet and seemingly riddled with diacetyl. The elderflower is sickly. Toffee elements. Really didn’t work for me and ios verging on unpleasant.

On tap at Oxford bar cloudy golden ale with some floral notes smooth drinking with some light citrus fruit no significant bitterness pleasant but a bit bland

Smells lovely flowery and sweet malty notes in the back. Light golden with white head. Taste is dissappointing. Aftertaste of dandy lions? Tart and medicinal bitterness. Not a winner in my book. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden colour, with a one finger creamy white head. Not a huge amount in the way of aroma for me. The taste was cereal (cornflake) at first and as it warmed it became much hoppier - it got better as it went on. Fairly average beer - didn’t really do it for me.

Cask at The Harp, Covent Garden, London. Clear golden beer with a minimal offwhite head. Hoppy and a bit fruity aroma. Hoppy and a kind of carbonage flavour.

Cask at The Harp, London. Clear yellow/golden beer with a small head. Fruity hop aroma, hay, citrus, red apples, some pears and some spices. Thin fruity spicy flavor, pepper, quite bitter, hay, perfume, some citrus and grapefruit. Long bitter hop finish with perfume, grass and pepper.

[on cask in Edinburgh] Slightly sour citrus hops aroma with some citrusy character coming from fermentation and nice caramel and not so nice white glue (elderflower?) accents. Almost clear dark gold under a lacy, white sheet. The flavour is potent and earthy with white glue (elderflower?) that’s slightly offensive up front but yields to a nice blend of flowers and toffee. Notes of lemon and pear and a hint of DMS. Medium body, moderate to low carbonation, lasting sour and bitter finish.

Best part of this is the long aftertaste thats surprisingly strong. Head is delicious but colour is a dull clear golden. No carbonation. Basic golden ale Taste and aroma
