[Cask at GBBF 2005] An unclear orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is slightly fruity, while the flavor is fruity combined with notes of ginger on a slightly malty background, and with a dry hoppy end.

Cask (gravity dispense), GBBF, August 2005. Murky gold colour (at first I didn’t realise it was supposed to be a hefeweizen) with a surprising level of carbonation for a gravity poured beer. Yeasty in aroma and flavour, but a bit light on spices and banana esters to qualify for authentic status. That apart, a rather tasty and enjoyable beer.

Bottle on the train from Thurso to Inverness, from Tomlinsons, 20/10/13. Clear golden amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is floral, light spice, orange, clove, yeast. Taste comprises bitter orange, light spice, clove, citric tang, wheaten bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale. Decent enough offering, clean and refreshing.
