Cask at The Railway, Putney. Mahogany brown, still, clear, small foamy white head. Aroma is pungent sweet syrupy toffee apple, kvass, toffee. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is sweet bready malts, toffee, musty finish with some resin drying it up but it’s mostly a sugar bomb. Touch of spice. Not a typical bitter.
