Pint at Milnes Bar on Rose Street, Edinburgh. Quite a dark brown. Also larger head than normal.

Handpump in the Glen Nevis campsite bar. Pretty average on most fronts, a bit hazy, perhaps due to it being well chilled! A bit malty, some hops? The temperature spoiled what could have been a decent pint!

Imaena (2315) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - AUG 11, 2013
Scotland: Volunteer Arms. This is a nice simple bitter with a little bit of a higher ABV than usual.

On cask @ the Royal Dunkeld Hotel. Pours a dark amber into chestnut colour. The nose has toffee and malt mostly - maybe a hint of apple. The taste is more toffee malt and quite caramel on the end. The palate is medium bodied and textured and well balanced. Overall, a good ale.

mutz (1043) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2013
Tap@ Glen Nevis restaurant, fort william. Amberkleurig mooie vollekraag. Ruikt naar mout en caramel. Idem smaak, wat melige moutsmaak. Aardig bier, weinig koolzuur.

Cask by handpump at Camperdown Place, Glasgow - clear orange brown, foamy off-white head, caramel, biscuit aroma, poor lacing, sweet malty, caramel, rather watery, very easy to drink

Stuartyboy (1645) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - MAY 18, 2013
Dark amber light brown in colour with a flavour of roasted malts and burnt carmel giving a real sweet bitterness in the taste red fruits coming through along with a drying bitterness

jd543 (428) - SCOTLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Looks amazing. Ruby red colour, foamy white head. That’s as far as it goes. Aroma is a soapy, maybe some hops, not a whole lot going on. Flavour is sweet, very malty, cereals, cornflakes, dark fruit, a bit salty, not amazing. Texture is creamy.

Nice sweet toffee taste. Very smooth, creamy. Some fruit and slight spice finish. Could have a few of these.
