Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours light amber with a large foamy/creamy white head. Aroma is mildly roasted malt with some sort of arguably pine or citrus hop. Med body. Flavor seems light toffee with more roasty malt, and there’s something hop - which is a bit concealed by malt - and might be citrus. Drinks ok. Flavors are a bit variable. I’d almost say I was getting coffee in the finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Darker dull amber, thick and hazy, HUGE fluffy sandy head, nice lacing.   Like the stout I had the other day, put a few months on these bottles and they foam over.   While not tasting overly infected, it
seems like its on its way.   Sweet candyish/powdery sugar aroma, candied citrus peel, could be busted.   Has that Danish IPA/IIPA flavor profile, soft pithy hops, but major pixie stix/powdered sugar sweetness.   Very air on
the tongue.   Seems that sitting on this for too long resulted not in it getting aged/flat, but instead perhaps infected.   All I can say is drink your Calapooia soon, as it won’t die a slow death, instead it will turn into a
foam bomb. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Clear light gold, sticky white lacing. Resinous aromas. Medium bodied, well balanced palate is bitter with a clean finish. Flavors of pine resin and earth. Reid (2535) - Salem, Oregon, USA - DEC 2, 2012
22oz bottle from"LifeSouce" in Salem.
Clear Lyle Syrup golden coloured ale with a large, thick ,rocky white head.
Pretty reasonable nose on this a lot of rich caramel type malts and good semi-resiny hop.
Nicely balanced taste..mainlly caramel malts then followed up by resin/citric hops in the end. Pleasant enough.
Well carbonated and good palate.
A nice enough pale more towards the balanced side. BK7 (773) - Turner, Oregon, USA - JUL 9, 2012

Just kind of meh with a heavy resin taste. A pale ale that is okay I guess, but nothing really that good. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009
