UPDATED: AUG 16, 2016 Named after a kayaking spot, or something. Possibly in the ocean, or on the Willamette River. Doesn’t matter, the beer is the star here. A thick, rich, delicious Stout. It tastes exactly as it should.
Re-Rating 8/16/2016: 8, 5, 7, 4, 15 / Below average Stout. Sampled at the Albany, OR brewpub.
Bottle. Coffee, licorice, chocolate malt and hay aroma. Dark brown with nice tan head. Moderately sweet licorice, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter fresh hay flavor. Good body. Nice. Patrickctenchi (6552) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Dark, red-brown with a huge, creamy, tan head.
Coffee, licorice, cream aroma.
Very creamy, vanilla-chocolate-coffee flavour.
Pretty sweet...some woody bitterness.....and a lot more licorice as it warms.
Body feel is a bit light, but it’s quite tasty. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - DEC 6, 2016
a touch on the weaker side, but pleasantly chocolatey and lightly spiced (?). body is smooth but thin with cocoa, lightly bitter and sweet. gregwilsonstl (2466) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 18, 2016
Very dark brown. Black licorice. Hoppy. Medium body. Dark cola, like Dr. Pepper almost. Good, not great. Enjoyed on deck at Taylor’s AirBnb in Eugene. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - DEC 10, 2015
Pours a finger of tan head on a black body.
The aroma is licorice, coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malt. Nice.
The taste is milky, a little chocolate and coffee too.
The texture is smoother.
A solid and nice drinking stout.

Bomber from Roth’s. Dark in color. Ruby outlines. Nose is dominated by sweet roasted coffee. Sweet and roasty up front. A bit of a yogurt flavor to it. Decent flavorings, but a little off. julesjis (256) - Oregon, USA - APR 10, 2015
Had on tap at the Country Cruise In Diner in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma is licorice and slightly roasty. Flavor has a bit of licorice and vanilla. Is a bit watery in the mouth feel but pretty smooth. douglas88 (9051) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Bomber. Pours a pitch black color with a huge firm beige head. The aroma is big super sweet malts, licorice, toffee, vanilla. A nice flavor: dark fruit, toffee, ash, licorice, some metal. Pretty smooth. Good. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   That’s not good when you pour a beer and you get more foam than liquid.   Huge light beige head, foamy, otherwise nearly black.   Somewhat decent lacing... but is that because its overcarbonated or infected?
Dark chocolate and roasted malts on the nose.   Oh... each sip results in a foaming in the mouth.   Apple skin, roasted malts, dark chocolate, and coffee on the tongue.   Its a bit hard to get over the extreme foaminess
of this beer.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, albeit very very spritzy!   Not really getting any licorice or vanilla with this.   Seems to be a straight forward stout that is either over carbonated or is on its way to a
major infection.   Lingering sour apple skin, charred wood, campfire, and super dark chocolate.   Perhaps I sat on this too long (6 months +). DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Dark black color with foamy tan lacing. Large roasted coffee aroma. Medium full body that is very smooth without too bitter of a finish. Vanilla ice cream?
