Aroma – Strong hops aroma.
Appearance – Amber in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor – Good strong hops flavor with a nice malt backing. Has a semi fruitiness to the flavor.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – One of the better beers for the day .This was a very good PAC NW IPA.
On tap at Calapooia in Albany, Oregon--Poured a orange-sienna body with a wispy, beige, filmy head. Nose of fruity, citrusy grapefruit hops and sticky malts. Grainy and spicy. Big earthy, piny, resinous finish. Yum! boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 30, 2007
Tap... Poured an unfiltered burnt orange with a thin white head. I typically like the look of unfiltered beers, but the head diminished so quickly to nothing I had to rate its appearance lower. Sharp, hop and grain aroma. Great texture in the mouth and a punch of hops with a very earthy/piney presence. Tasted great. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 13, 2007
on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is mild citrus hops, yeast?, secondary medium malt. Taste is citrus hops/grapefruit/flat hops-some bitter, secondary medium malt.

On tap at the brewpub. I think it might just be me, but Chinook hops smell like cat pee, and this was loaded with them. Pours light orange with a soft white head. Heavy citrus grapefruit hop flavor finishing more towards the pine side. I liked the flavor of the IPA, but the chinook aroma just bugs me. thedm (6179) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 6, 2007
This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of medium sized brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The aroma was malty musty and dirty sock. The Mouth feel was crisp and clean with a lingering piney hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of piney hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. kenb (1102) - Oregon, USA - APR 28, 2007
Sampled at the 2007 Blooms & Brews Fest at the Oregon Gardens.
Pours a hazy amber with a nice white head. Nose is citrusy. Taste is hoppy grapefruit and a little pine. Finish/aftertaste have a lingering hop bitterness that is a bit metallic. Carbonation is moderate, body is medium.
