Bottle: Thanks to rfernandez for the sample. Calavera has great marketing, concepts, designs, digital media, etc. Beers a avg to weak, the pale ale is one dimensional, lacks character, body and taste. Keep the design, re-do the recipe.

Bottle in Mexico City. Ugly still brown-orange body, basically no head. Fruit and vegetable nose, profound DMS. Creamy, slick, astringent body. Pretty horrible. Heavy, no character, no semblance of an american pale ale in flavor nor body. Profoundly odd, two-sip drain pour. Conceivably this is an unforgivably old bottle from this fancy grocery store, but without a bottle date I couldn’t say.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy bronze color with a white head and losts of floating sediment. Aroma is light malt and citrus. Taste is light malt, citrus, and caramel. Finish is quite messy.

Aroma: light apple juice and bready aroma; Appearance: hazy orange pour with lots of particulates suspended; unusual for a pale ale; Taste: also very unusual for a pale ale, almost more like a belgian; Palate: medium body with long, slightly sweet and spicy finish; Overall: not as bad as rating would suggest but still quite odd. Would not get again.

I haven’t poured a beer this annoying since I started rating belgians half a decade ago. It pours half hazy yellow, and half white foam. Very frothy and empty. Tons of sediment precipitates out of the head when you finish the pout. I almost don’t want to drink it because its not a belgian but an APA? Is this even safe? The beer looks like a bubble factory in the glass. There is som much cavitation created off the internal sediment. WTF? The aroma is caramel. The tastes is caramel and warm paper. I wonder if our American made "mexican lagers" are as bad as this mexican made "American pale ale" is to them.

12 ounce bottle bought at whip in .. pours a murky-ish tan .. medium foam .. some floaties .. swamp, green fresh hops, grass, and wet older grass .. talk to me young man .. tasty but this was newer on the shelves, but considering that 12 people in mexico probably died trying to deliver this, it was decent .. . . that’s it! i’m outta here!

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a high, mixed-grain, white head. Nose is very light and mostly lager-like; orange, bready, biscuity, and a little spice. Sweet on the front with a little hops bitterness; the sweetness is a little saccharine, and there’s not a lot of sharpness or cleanness to it. It’s rather murky, and much more blonde ale than pale ale. Finish is long and candied. Not very impressive.

Hazy light amber. Lots of cascade in the nose. Fruity, yeasty basic pale ale.

Bottle, 355ml. A clear amber beer with a huge frothy head that stayed on after several minutes. Head definitely got out of control. It has a fruty aroma, especially of citrics like orange and lemon. Taste is bitter and acidic. There are lots of citrics, especially grapefruit. Medium carbonation and some astringency. It lost some balance at the end.
