Poured from a 25 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a pale gold color with a small white head. The aroma has a strong ginger presence. The taste of ginger is not paired well with the traditional ingredients.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2016) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of ginger, orange peel, caramel and candied ginger. Fruity, herbal taste with ginger, orange, candy sugar and a fairly sweet finish with a soapy ginger character. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting and spicy, with a lot of ginger, but it still works quite well. Quite nice.

On tap at the Shirokita Park Fest. It pours a beautiful copper gold. The nose is a lovely enticing ginger. The smooth medium body gives you earthy sweet ginger with a round carbonation. The taste is earthy ginger with a bit of biscuit and lemon. Quite nice.

Pours thick head that dissipates quickly w some dense lacing. Sniffs floral and fruity rather than spicy, delicate though. Mouthfeel is mostly carbonation, a tad of bite from ginger. Light flavor that would be easily overpowered, floral finish with a nice fresh feeling

Bottle - Ginger and pale malts. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Raw ginger and not much else.

mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2015
22 oz. bottle, pours a dark golden with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of ginger root upfront, with a little candied sugar. Flavour brings out lots of dry ginger root, with a dry toasted bready malt backing. Nothing special, but it’s competent. Meh.

Pours two fingers of head on a hazy straw body. The aroma is dry grain and a little ginger smell. The taste is mild overall: watery at first, mild ginger, a touch of candy and finishes with a mild bitter flavor. The texture is crisp. As advertised, it’s a mild beer with a little ginger.

KyotoLefty (10603) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle at Imazato. Cloudy orange, lacy. Nose is ginger, orange and peach, bready malt. Prickly ginger flavor, rather sweet, stone fruits, somewhat thick. Meh.

geologyguy (1645) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - OCT 30, 2014
Slight ginger smell, bland beer with ginger taste, nothing special, beer with ginger lol

swanmann (777) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 25, 2014
Bronze orange color with a thin layer of off-white suds, quickly disappearing. Aromas of honey, some florals and ginger. Flavors of some candy sugar, some ginger spice and a little aspirin bitterness. It finishes mostly sweet. I’d say its’ medium bodied with adequate carbonation. It’s actually pretty tastey.
