Sampled on 1/15/2011. This pale lager pours a light gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grainy, spicy and sweet with a touch of corn. A medium to light bodied pale lager. The malts are bready, cereal and slightly sweet. The hops are floral and spicy. Lively carbonation. It’s a pale lager, and there are some adjuncts here, but this is a very light, refreshing and flavorful beer. Crisp and clean, with a nice lively mouthfeel and a crisp dry finish. Very drinkable and would be a great beer on a hot day. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, with a little bit of residual sweetness. I like this one a lot. Fatehunter (2615) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - DEC 14, 2014
Pours a finger of head on a clear golden body.
The aroma is a nice dry grain smell.
The taste is a mild to moderate pine bitterness, slowly moves to a honey sweet finish. Great profile.
The texture is crisp and a little fizzy.
An excellent lager. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAY 2, 2010
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I guess I was the only one. It is a pale lager, that does not mean it is bad. Probably the best pale lager I’ve ever had. Nose is that of light grainy malt, cereal, grass, and a hint of lemon. Pours very pale golden with not much head. The flavor has hints of light grain, cereal, a touch of sourdough bread, and light grassy crispness in the finish. Light bodied, super sessionable, very enjoyable. I wish I had more. kmweaver (3208) - Petaluma, California, USA - AUG 10, 2010
22oz bottle, purchased at Harry and David’s Medford. Pours a clear, pale straw color; effervescent; small-bubbled white head with decent retention and lacing, glistening. A lightly honeyed malt character in the nose, with a moderate grassy and mineral hop character; nicely balanced and crisp; clean fermentation; a pretty engaging, solid expression of its ingredients. Medium-light body; lively carbonation; just a touch of a carbonic bite; very engaging, hugely drinkable feel in the mouth; possible hints of appropriately placed DMS/acetaldehyde notes, but very light; modest, crisp, toasty maltiness (lightly honeyed, light sugar), along with that grassy, mineral hop note; relatively clean, quite enjoyable pale lager; hugely drinkable and that grassiness almost suggests dry-hopping. Nicely toasty, dry finish: crisp, very toasty, very mild mineral bitterness at the far end. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - OCT 16, 2010

Aroma – Light malt and hops aroma – very crisp.
Appearance – Golden in color, Clear, with a thin head.
Flavor – Nice clean roast malt and a decent amount of hops.
Palate – Nice Dry finish with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall – A very nice easy drinking beer.
Bottle:   I initially thought this was infected as the head exploded when I poured it.   Nope, just overcarbonated.   Pale straw, slight haze, HUGE frothy white head, nice lacing, very strong carbonation.   Soft grassy nose, a little straw and hay.   Very faint floral notes.   Super smooth on the tongue, albiet very prickly because of the carbonation.   Has a grassy/straw background, yet its not terribly strong.   Clean, and flavor enough to last past the finish.   This is one of the better Pale Lagers I have had.   Has a smidgen of floral/fruity notes as well.   This would be too easy to drink on a hot day, but not too fast or else you might burp up your lunch! tom10101 (6268) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 25, 2015

Appearance: Clear pale yellow/golden with a medium quickly diminishing but easy to revive creamy off-white head and good lacing.
Aroma: Mild, but interesting nonetheless with a nice herbal presence, light spiciness, lemon, fresh cereals and light apples notes.
Taste: Crisp malts, freshly cutted grass, light spiciness, lemony notes and mild honeyed sweetness.
Palate: Light body. Lively carbonation. Clean and crisp mouthfeel while being a bit fluffy too. Dry and herbal finish. Mild moderately lasting spiciness.
Overall: Best Pale Lager I have ever had by a fair margin. A beer I would easily drink a 4-pack while working outside on hot summer days (only the days I don’t have a fresh Walden growler in the fridge though). Well executed light quenching beer.
Can via big chris. A creamy and yeast twang mixed, grass nosed body. Light and fluffy body. Quick drinking snd smooth. Gently hopped. Does the can truly need the warni g...."contains barley" ???
