Mildlyalty aroma with some light floral hops. Clear deep golden body is topped by a generois and lasting white nitro jead that coats the sides of the glass. Simple malty flavour with light offsetting bitterness.edium body with creamy texture. Sampled on tap at the Halfway House in Edinburgh in September 2012.

Pours a brown colour. Typical keg bitter. Luke John Smith's but a bit sweeter. Ok but won't be revisiting

wheresthepath (2424) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2017
Keg at the Dunblane Hydro because it looked the least uninspiring of the tiny selection of uninspiring overpriced beers. It was a dull golden-amber colour with a thick off-white nitro head. Rather watery with light caramel flavours and a little metal. Despite being boring and insipid it was still better than I expected and certainly better than equivalent big brewer keg bitters like John Smith's.

Tap at golf inn, st andrews. Copper color, smooth white head. Aroma has caramel notes, some malts, some fruity notes. Smooth bitter taste, caramel notes, hint of fruits at the end.

From tap in Spean Bridge Hotel, Spean Bridge, Scotland. Pours dark amber with a beautiful creamy head. Unfortunately, the promising looks are not met by according tastes. Very faint hint of malt and some very distant bitterness, otherwise watery, low carbonation. Nothing special.

rodbod (469) - Motherwell, SCOTLAND - SEP 10, 2017
A pleasant sweet maltiness on the mid palate, but otherwise it's bland. No off notes mind you.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Tap @ Central Bar, Aberdeen. Egy az egyben mint 51-ben fenn a hegyben olyan ez mint a Belhaven Bestje.

On tap in Edinburgh. Light, drinkable, mild bitterness, ok easy ale but nothing special

aleksander9 (1927) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2017
-On tap somewhere in Scotland- Nuts, biscuits, fruity and toffee. An okay ale.

Serapac (565) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 22, 2017
[email protected] airport. Weak black tea colour, smallish creamy off-white head. Malty aroma, malty mildly bitter taste, which turn into surprisingly long bitter finish - probably the best part of the experience.

L_Lovecraft (744) - - APR 29, 2017
Some caramel and malty notes, amber with no head, light body, soft carbonation, taste is similar...very forgettable.
