Colour is clear amber, the head is mediumsized and white. Leaves a lot of lace. Aroma is caramel, nectar, fruits and some wood. Flavour is wooden, fruity, hoppy. Mainly dark fruits in aftertaste. Wellbalanced and nice.
(RBESG 2007, Cask at The Barony, Edinburgh) Amber color, creamy offwhite head. Toffee aroma, creamy, milky, chocolate and some butter. Malty flavor, some toffee here as well. Fruity and a bit milky. omhper (25351) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2007

A Mes rate:
Gravicask at GBBF. Amberish colour with a reasonable off white head. Standard bitter fayre but with lashings of caramel. Almost too much. Sticky finish that eventually turns bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Hope & Anchor, Bristol 11/8/07. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head that left a lot of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and red fruit. Flavour was also sweet, almost caramelised with a bitter finish that prevented it becoming cloying. Good. Christian (13755) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2007
Copper beer with a lasting creamy head. Caramel, malt, bisquit, toffee aroma. Slightly sweet with a dry and lightly bitter finish. pivnizub (10728) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 1, 2007
Cask (Drymen): Pale amber coloured, small and persistent off-white head; moderate fruity (peaches) and malty nose; solid bitter flavour, light bodied; traces of sweet malt and toasted malt in the mainly dryish bitter, lingering finish. Fine, well crafted stuff........... Rogermoore (34) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 4, 2007
