Cask. Low lasting creamy off-white head. Dark clear amber body. Distinct barley malt aroma with caramel and honey. Sweet barley malt flavor with a bit of caramel but little hops bitterness. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.

Cask at GBBF 2008. Pours a pure dark amber colour with a thin white head. The aroma is all malt with a hint of caramel. The flavor is off sweet malt, with hop bitterness that comes through.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2008 Cask. Dark amber color with an off-white head. Aroma: Malty and sweet, toffee, sweet fruit and caramel. Flavor: Sweet malt, fruity, milky, caramel, some hop bitterness in the background. I actually liked this one better on bottle. On cask it was a bit watery.

Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 7, 2007
A couple of pints at The Star in Middlesbrough, 05/10/07. Mid brown with a creamy head and a strong biscuity aroma. Tastes sweet and bready with a creamy smooth mouthfeel. Overall, a nicely drinkable session bitter for a lazy Friday afternoon.

FatPhil (17075) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 24, 2007
Cask (Kuikka, Helsinki) Brown nutty aroma, some coffee. Taste is creamy and hints of coffee grounds, but also very brown. A bit dead, no real punch, not enough sharpness to the hops.

2.7
Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 21, 2007
Clear light orange. Gentle 1cm off-white head. Grainy, sugary, pear-like and cerealic ale with toasted biscuits and fruity nuances. A bit sticky in its finish. Unconvincing low carbonation leaves the stickiness queen while mildly rooty earthiness tries to bring a sense of hopeless balance. Simple for a sweet ale.

2.8
Ungstrup (38383) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 15, 2007
Cask at Tennent’s Bar, Glasgow. An amber beer with a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a slightly bitter finish. A somewhat boring beer.
