Hand-pulled in the Ferry Boat Inn, Ullapool, Scotland. Pours clear brown with nice head. Creamy texture. Taste of malts and nuts. A good Ale, indeed. luttonm (6562) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 27, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2017 Camden Eye, London. Cask. (Lots of questions about this beer, this entry is the best I could determine. Served as ’Camden Eye Ale’. Sounds like it is a rebadge of a common beer, and is reused as a house beer at other pubs around UK). Seems a dark amber orange English mild. Thin lacing foam. Malty water nose, rye bread. Full smooth sip. Dark Malts, medium sweet hop notes. Fair, darker drinker. Deep, modestly sweet, a bit sticky around edges. Solid pint. ekstedt (6932) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2017
At some bar in Edinburgh. Clear amber, white head. Bready and nutty malt, floral hops. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation. Dry, medium bitterness. Mishnok (359) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2017
From cask. Pours reddish-amber with not a big aroma. Caramel and light malts with toffee notes. Quite smooth and not bad for a large brewery

Cask at The Reginald Mitchell, Hanley (JDW) Called Caledonian Edinburgh Castle. A clear deep amber colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel, lightly roasted malts, nuts, some red fruit and slight spicy hops.
Taste of caramel, toffee, lightly roasted malts, some nuts, slight red fruits, a little smoke, a hint of coffee and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A bittersweet, malty bitterness in the finish. Quite sweet but with enough roasted malts and hops to make it drinkable. Basic Scottish bitter but decent.

Tap at The Horn, Reading. As ’Oliver Riley Bitter’. Odd malt aroma. Dark Amber. G old thick white head. Light bitter. Underlying sourness. Light. Flat. Piss poor but it was the end of the cask. Vladivostok (490) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2016
On sale as Edinburgh Castle. Aroma of roast or crystal malts. Darkish amber with a fairly high hop presence although evident in bitterness rather than flavour. OK.
