Clear dark amber with a nice fizzy, lacy, disappearing beige head. Smells of sweet caramel malt, light roast, and dry bread. Medium oily body. Sweet taste of malt, nut and caramel with notes of straw and a bitter acidic hop finish. Very average bitter with general good qualities but nothing much to stand out.
Clear light brown liquid, large head. Strong aroma of malt. Light body, hardly any carbonation. Taste of stout, a bit sour. Grumbo (3968) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2017

Drank a ton of this stuff back when I was in university. Reddish brown pour, thin head. Caramel, faint dark fruit in the aroma, malty. Toffee up front, malty, a bit bready, a little bit smoky. Watery body, sweet finish. Little incentive to have it again. redders1974 (1625) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2017
