Cask Pint – JDW Fest Autumn 2011 in Oct 2011 - Opaque Black in colour. Very Malty; sweet roast malts, toffee, some coffee, hints of milk chocolate. Fruity; dark soft fruits, plums and raisins. Hoppy; earthy hops. Smooth. Easy drinking for AV. Sweet roast malty fruity throughout. Not an Impy Stout; more of a cross between a stout and a porter. Enjoyed this a lot. Nice beer! (2011-10-15)
