Cask at Rose Street Brewery Edinburgh, june 16th 2015. Hazy bright golden body with a big white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, grass and flowers. Taste has some spicy yeast esters, citrus fruit and a dry bitterness. Good thirst quencher.

BeerNinjaUK (466) - Wiltshire, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2016
Pint at Fiddler’s Arms, Edinburgh. No real aroma to speak of, slight grassiness. Flat but with good white creamy head. Taste slightly fruity and sweet, lacking bitterness.

Vladivostok (485) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2016
No aroma to speak of and only its name and history keep it from being classed as a golden ale. Pleasant on the palate and not in the least bit sweet, the over-riding flavour is of freshly baked bread. Surprisingly bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask. Aroma of roasted malt. Golden colour with lace top. Tastes of wholemeal bread and bread. Light and easy drinking with a refreshing bitter sparkle in the finish. My ideal session bitter if the aim was mainly to keep company but it’s unlikely to win a CAMRA award these days given the abundance of great IPAs around.

KansaiBeerLvrs (5152) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 11, 2015
Ship tavern, cask. Duchars IPA 3,8% a deep golden orange with an old school UK IPA aroma that is more malty than hoppy. Soft bodied with a distinct earthy tobacco leaf & lemon flavor. Interesting as a mild or English bitter but not really my image of an IPA.
