JDW Fest. Clear gold beer, residual white head. Light crisp palate. Lots of fairly dry pale malt with a nice touch of citrus and just a whisper of lemon. Dry finish. Goes down easy.
Cask at the Crosse Key, JDW. Clear, yellow-gold pour with a foamy, white head. Boring malt aroma with hints of citrus and hay. Pretty sweet flavor with pleasant dough and light, grassy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet and there are subtle notes of lemon here. More dough and sugar, faint hay. Easy drinking. harrisoni (19165) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2011
Cask handpull at Samuel Peto JDW Folkestone. Pale gold with lasting off white head. Its an ok golden ale with some biscuit and a touch of boiled sweet. Good lemon sting on the finish. Fairly drinkable gplden ale. imdownthepub (15130) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2011
Cask conditioned at a wetherspoons. Hazed gold with slight head. This started off with an odd perfumed note, a mix between butterscotch and boiled sweets. A little on the tart side, flowery, drinkable although not greatly enjoyable.

Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Golden with a cream head. Aromas are toast malts with lemon zest, yeast and hints of sulphur. Flavours are sweet toast malts with lemon. Yeasty but not really much going on, overall. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2011
