A dark, amber brown beer with a weak white head. A light malty aroma, nutty, woody and a touch grassy. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is dry, biscuity malt, bitter nuttiness followed by a hint of hoppy citrus fruit. The finish is well balanced between the hops and the malt.

Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, malty, dusty chocolate notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130406]

Clear amber beer with a thick frothy head. Aroma is malt and strong caramel. The taste follows suit, though with an odd sour tang on the tongue, too, which slightly spoiled it for me. Pleasant enough but nothing memorable.
