A great pint. Typical of the style expected from caledonian brewery. His a smooth taste with a malt and caramel taste.
Good in a bottle would be great on tap. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2012
Bottle round The Jenners limbering up for the Sweden game. Cocoa-dusted plum, Imperial Leather and fig aroma. Deep coppery bronze with a well-behaved lacing foam. Deep Scottish maltiness; raisins, milk chocolate, fig again.Touches of almond with Hobnob afters. Mouth-filling. Bit of a treat. Maybe I’ve been on the Baltic pale lagers too long.

Godt humlet bitter, med en meget tør smag af træ. Meget tør! Det er en af de øl hvor jeg må have en øl for at slukke tørsten bagefter. Martin243 (1222) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2012
500 ml bottle poured into an outsize tulip. Dark amber with a thin white head.Juicy plum and cinder toffee aroma. Fruit and nut toffee, red berries, and spicy almond flavours. Gentle carbonation, and a rounded bitter finish. Quite assertive for a 4% bitter. Enjoyable. scotty (1224) - SCOTLAND - MAY 8, 2014
Bottle from B&M. Copper/gold in colour with a thin, but lasting white head, leaving a good set of rings down the glass. Nice malty nose with some fruit loaf type aromas in the background, med - full in body, nice malty palate with a good finish. Good beer!

Enjoyable ale to drink. Reminded me of Ringwood Best, more malt than hops. Nice sessionable ale at 4% Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2012
