Cask at The Farmer’s Arm Inn, King’s Lynn, July 2012
Hazy blond color. Light malt aroma. Light malt flavour, with some astringency; simple hopping, just shades of lemony and grassy hop; ordinary bitterness; dry final. Too simple.

Well not much to say here...butter, popcorn, slight skunkiness. This has very little redeeming qualities.

Bottle at AZ crews amazing driveway tasting. This was pretty much everyone’s least favorite beer of the day but we were just getting started and I was so giddy with anticipation after touring the cellar i drank it down pretty quick. pours golden with soapy head. nose of sweet cheap candy. tastes buttery, sugar, grass, bread, hay, and vanilla. oh well moving on...

GBBF. Light haze on this gold beer. No real head. Light dry crisp palate. A trace of the dreaded Golden Ale affliction - eggs, not too bad. Sharp marmalade hops. Semi dry finish.

cgarvieuk (26360) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 9, 2012
cask at GBBF 2012 ... golden amber ... no head ... sweet toffee ... typical caley toffe nose ... sweet toffee ... again the caramilised malts ...

Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 18, 2012
Handpull @ the Anchor Sidmouth. Golden yellow, lovely hop aroma with zesty, lemony flavours. Light-bodied, a Real summer ale.

Weefannybaws (130) - Barrhead, SCOTLAND - AUG 18, 2012
Pint in the Bull Inn, Paisley. Pours a lovely golden colour. Quite a peppery taste to begin with. Fades to a lightly spiced floral after-taste. Drinkable, but probably wouldn’t buy again

imdownthepub (15513) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Easington, Banbury. Gold with white head. Light, slightly thin and watery beer with some maltiness, light hop note. It’s there but struggling to show. Average.
