Cask. Pale yellow ale with a white frothy top. Very lagerish. Nose is straw and cereals. Touch of lemon. In the mouth, lots more cereal flavours and light lemon notes. Really pleasant and moreish. Sessionable and light with a nice lemon wafer finish. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2004
Cask at Acorn (JDW) Lichfield. Tight white head on deep gold body, citirc nose, big citric hopped taste, sherbert / watermelon in finish as bitterness ripples through. Good stuff. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2004
Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Nice golden colour with tight white head. Aroma has some citrus elements. Flavour is sweet, citrus, hoppy with peach/melon in there as well. Medium bodied, with a long sweet aftertaste. Pretty good. chriso (7583) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2004
It’s yellow and its mellow. As others have remarked, this beer is packed with citric hop character. One dimensional it may be, but it’s still a very nice drop. Clean, fresh and thirst quenching. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London SW1.
