Cask (handpump) @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Light light unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, damp-stained, buttery notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (150608)

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A golden beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty a bit on the light side. The flavor is sweet and rather malty with light notes of caramel, leading to a lightly bitter end. A bit boring.

Cask. Golden colour, not too much head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild saltwater and suplhur along with some resin and that’s about it- Flavour is fruity, floral, citrusy and quite bready to it. Mild sulphury notes in the flavour too.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2007. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet malty hoppy flavor. Dry malty finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. Clear golden. Sweet, soapy and fruity. Mildly buttery with a straight forward lagerlike flavour profile. Finished with medium bitterness. Flawless, but lacks substance.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2007 Pale golden ale, with a fruity nose, fruity hoppyness with a light bitter linger, nicly balanced... again smithies ale house edinburgh ... slightly clowded yellow ... light fruity citric hop ... very fruity quite well balanced ... little sharp ... lots of juicyness.

Leighton (21089) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2015
Draft at GBBF 2013, day 4 - London. Pours perfectly clear, bright gold with a fine, creamy white head. Lightly tangy lemon in the aroma, some hay. Light sweet flavor with moderate citrus tang, slight pale bread, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with more subtly tangy lemon, mellow pale bready malts, kisses of bitter straw. A nice enough golden ale.

Cask at the Four Horseshoes, Chobham, 27/07/13. Badged as ’Golden XPA’. Clear golden with a moderately sized white head that retains well. Nose is orange sherbet, floral hops, summer fruits. Taste comprises light hops, vanilla essence, perfumed notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Pleasant enough and inoffensive GB.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Pale copper with thick cream head. Yeasty stoney beer. Quite a sharp hop to it. Pleasant, drinkable, hop keeps you interested. Some caramel. Hops on end are good.
