COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Drunken Spider is a brown recluse that crawled out of the backwoods and into a rum barrel, from there it was refermented and naturally carbonated in the barrel. This is a truly unique and complex creature. Get Bit.

Tasted on draft at the 12 South Winter Warmer in 2011. Pours cloudy burnt orange with an average beige head that leaves a decent collar of lace after a quick recession. The nose is dill oak with sweet caramel malt, and some darker notes of molasses. The flavor is light dill and banana with toffee, caramel, and some nicely balancing bitterness. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long banana and toffee finish.

Very strong aroma of sweet dark rum, flavor is thick caramel and brown sugar, molasses, but still as drinkable as any of Calfkiller’s beers. On tap at the 12 South Winter Warmer beer festival in Nashville, TN.
