COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We took the refinement out of the barrel and brought the funk from the farm. Using wild wine yeast strain straight from the vineyard and pomace straight from press, we infuse this sour ale with Dry Creek Valley zinfandel skins. Tart and jammy, juicy but dry. It starts fruit-forward with notes of bright red berries and finishes with wood spice and soft tannins. Blur the line between beer and wine.

Hops: Styrian Golding
Yeast: Wine yeast and Brett

Dogbrick (14009) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 6, 2017
Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Hazy apricot-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oaky white wine, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, funky yeast, berry and doughy malt. The finish is oaky with a wine and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good beer overall.

Cloudy golden color. Nice aroma, the vinous character is strong and elegant. Strong body, there is some residual sweetness balancing the strong acidity, some acetone, fruit, wine.
Very good.

375ml bottle @ Matt's. Pours a hazy orange colour with a small white head. Nose is ample wine barrel, light vinegar, and oak. Flavour is upfront quite vinous with a fair amount of oak, while a moderate acidity makes itself known. Decent.

Hazy peachy note .On the nose, somewhat vinous...this has a cleaner taste. Nice vinous note, but that lends it a lot of complexity. Good woody dryness. Complex and tasty.
