COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Barrel-aged beer is so passé. Barrel-aged wild sparkling ales—now that’s innovative. We combined wild Brettanomyces and champagne yeast strains for an ale that’s Belgian funk meets wine country class. Infused with Dry Creek zinfandel pomace, or spent grape skins, and aged in reserve barrels, this wild ale is tart and jammy, juicy but dry. It starts fruit-forward, with notes of bright red berries and plum, and finishes with wood, spice, and soft tannins. Forget traditional. Try the wild side of Buzzerkeley.

Pours orange like light copper, slightly clear with foamy off-white head. Aroma-flavors: fruity notes of grapes, plums, red berries, hint of vanillin, leather, hint of spices, with dry astringent, slightly tart finish. Body is medium, texture soft, carbonation is soft.

Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours hazy copper with a white head. Aroma is funk with definite red grape. Med body or so. It’s funky, grape, sour/tart in a light way. Definitely wood astringency and dry. Nice stuff.

On draft at Beer Revolution. It pours a hazy orange color with a nice off white head. The aroma has a nice blend of toasty brett funk, stone fruit and nutty/vanilla barrel notes. Pretty strong acidity and good spicy, mildly phenolic brett funk in the finish. Vanilla and fruit stand out behind the acidity. Full bodied with a candy-like sweetness, but it finishes dry with more interesting barrel funk. Loved this one.

This beer has a color a lot lot a Shirley temple. It has an aroma of sour cherries and you get a hint of that in the flavor. It has a distinct wine characteristic which subtle and the sourness is overpowering. A very well done beer.
