COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Barrel-aged beer is so passé. Barrel-aged wild sparkling ales—now that’s innovative. We combined wild Brettanomyces and champagne yeast strains for an ale that’s Belgian funk meets Napa class. To take it up a notch, we aged it in Napa Valley reserve sauvignon blanc barrels. This wild ale is tart and explosive, with notes of yellow grapefruit, pineapple, and guava. Brett yeast creates a drying effect with hints of soft toffee and fresh sugar cane. Forget traditional. Try the wild side of Buzzerkeley.

2014 Very Cloudy orange pour. lots of foam. Aroma aged hops, apricots, dry old wood. Tastes prominent honey which gives it extra thickness. big apricots, wood. Some minerals, very slight vinegar. alcohol slightly hard. A bit subdued and the honey sorta mutes the palate, but all in all - very solid and different.

Deep orangey golden, fine white foam. Citrus aromas, lime, some kiwi, pineapple. Pretty rustic aromas, grasses, earthy. Significantly rich creamy on a sharp, acidic and very effervescent body -- what feel! Some tough tannins. Dry as all heck. Better as it warms. Some very light hints of acetone but that doesn’t get in the way -- just sort of living dangerously. Wow. surprising and I’m grateful. Wasn’t feeling even up for a beer tonight and this one inspires me.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. White wine aroma with light yeast. Tart and white wine flavor with lemon. Medium bodied. White wine and lemon lingers with light yeast, light spice, and light brett.

This beer has a slight red tint to its golden appearance. It has a distinct Sauvignon aroma. The champagne yeast comes through and it has a slight sweetness to its sour. It has a slight pineapple flavor and hint of white wine flavor while tasting strongly champagne like.

Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours lightly orange tinged gold with a white head. Aroma is sour pineapple. Med body or so. Flavor is mild brett, grape and arguably pineapple. Quit delicate, and very delicious.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours cloudy golden with a transient white head and a yeasty fruit aroma. There is a mellow pineapple and light malt flavor with an effervescent mouthfeel. Very delicate.

On tap @ Beer Revolution. Hazed orange pour with a white head. Some nice musty, funky grapes and damp wood going on. Green apple, lemon, and unlike melon. A decent amount of sweetness to it as well, perhaps apricot. Flavor has a good, though not overwhelming acidity. Plenty of lemon zest and tart grape. Some funky grape, oak, and basement. Very damp feeling to it. I dig it, but I hink the Zinfandel barrel was better...slightly
