COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A farm-to-table collaboration with Chez Panisse for its 42nd anniversary, this ale honors the sustainable farm. Organic hops from Lake County’s Hops-Meister Farm include an heirloom varietal from the 1850s. Picked on Monday. Dried on Tuesday. Brewed on Wednesday. Doesn’t get any fresher. It’s got a big, floral nose with hints of marmalade, grapefruit and pine. Supports sustainable farming education. Drink up: soon, to savor the freshness Pair with: rosemary lamb skewers and local gouda

Bottle from Whole Foods in Davis, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is mostly roasty malt, light, with not a lot of hop. A little fruit/citrus? Med body. Flavor is fruity. Grapey/grapefruit. Not harsh. Mild roasty caramel. It’s a little bit subtle on several points. But it drinks easily, and has a nice flavor. Very refined/low key. Clean.

Hazed gold with tinges of light orange. White head. Tropical fruits, citrus pith, light grassy hops. Very fruity and juicy with just the right amount of bitterness. Malt is noticeable but doesn’t detract from the brew.

Bottle from Mike in CA - thanks! Deep amber color with a nice big white head. This was an interesting beer to try. Really fun nose on this. Slight grapefruit citrus but also a bunch of other fruits prominent here. Taste is nice, softly hopped. Lots of malt here. Bitter citrus rind finish.

Golden pour with medium off-white head. Nose was floral and faintly citrus. Body was light clean tasting, balanced hoppiness, not too weak. Mellow dry finish. Good session, this would be a good beer to have in six-packs.

On tap at Tap 25. It pours golden with a small white head. The aroma has some nice tangerine notes with a little orange, mango and grass. The flavor is mostly citrusy with big notes of tangerine and orange. Very fresh tasting. Lightly bready malt and grass in the finish. Light bodied and sessionable. Really good.
