COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is one hop cocktail that shakes things up. Inspired by mixology, we blended nine hops varieties with California-grown native blackberry root and orange peel bitters to put some uptown in the downtown. Vibrant citrus and pine notes follow with stone fruit nuances. Then those bitters snap your palate clean. For a new way to IPA, The City is where its at.

Tap: Deep straw, clear with light heat and medium lace. Hop driven IPA. Resinous, piney, greet. The palate is very dry and extremely bitter for the depth of flavor. Just another West Coast IPA.

On tap at SFO. Pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Lots of English style hops. Bitterness lingers.

Draft - Bright yellow color with a small white head. Beer looks pretty good. Good bitter flavor. Not very nuanced at all, one dimensional.

Nice sweet malt and fresh hoppy aroma but the taste had a metalicness to it which was a bit unpleasant.

Bottle in San Francisco. Light straw body with puffy head. Nose is hops, floral, wheat. Taste is of hops aplenty, fruits, some oranges and spices too. Creamy and dry, crisp finish. Really enjoyable.

Had a pint in San Francisco that had a somewhat cloudy deep amber-copper color with an average-sized foamy white head that had decent retention and average cling and lacing. The aroma had strong floral and citrus hops scents with a deep grainy undertone. Its taste was mostly bitter and floral with grainy and citrus aspects and a slight sour effect. The body was pretty dry with average carbonation and a thicker dry finish.

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. A big white head too slowly falls. A little haze in this white golden beer. This smells nice. All kinds of fruit. Tropical, and citrus. Something akin to a much lighter version of smelling salts. The first sips are sour and mildly bitter. It is also spicy, earthy, herbal, and floral. Very complex. 9 varieties of hops and they must have been very small portions of each. No hop is really big. The bottle might have had some yeast sediment because the beer became more yeasty. This beer was very tasty throughout. Very nice balance between malts and all of those hops. Delicious, actually.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Goodness do I love sharing the same beer nearly 2000 miles apart. Actually only 1500 mlles on this one as I am in Idaho right now. The poured orange gold with a big foamy white head that had great retention and good lacing. Nose is complex with citrus, pine, stone fruit, tropical fruit. herbs, and something else maybe the blackberry root what ever that tastes like. Medium plus body. Nice mouth feel. Flavor his mostly hops with mats playing second fiddle. There is a lot of bitterness. The foam is very bitter. There is lot of bitterness in the fruit laden finish. The is a very interesting beer and somewhat unique. But the acid test is that it is very tasty and drinkable.
